How To Sustainable Maintain Your Coffee Addiction

Is it possible to get yourself a decent cup of coffee for a reasonable price? Well, to help you out I have gone to great lengths to help you decipher the coffee conundrum.

For most of us, or perhaps just the hipsters in the inner city, the average cup of coffee will set you back around $5.50 a pop, which works out to be $1,430 a year (assuming you buy just the one cup per weekday for every week in the year). Whilst this is certainly a fair chunk of money to be spending, if you are getting a coffee at this price you would assume it would be pretty good, with my experience being that it rates 9.5/10

If you want a step down in price, perhaps a visit to the local 7/11 would be more appealing to you with each coffee setting you back $3. All in all this will cost you $780 per year, but what you save in dollars you do lose in quality with a rating of 6/10. Still, not bad given that it comes from a self serve machine.

Next up, or down if you are looking at price, is the Coles coffee which will cost you $2 each and $520 in the year. Surprisingly, the coffee is not as bad as you might expect, coming out with a rating of 6.5/10 thanks in part to the generous size.

Finally, we have the Nespresso, which at $0.75 per coffee and $195 per year is far and away the cheapest of the bunch. Admittedly, it does receive the lowest rating at 5/10, but for those of you who are looking to save as much money as possible, it is definitely a viable option to satisfy the caffeine cravings.
