If the number of people who visit each day, especially on weekends, is anything to go by, then you need to make time to head down to Macquarie Centre and visit either The Missing Piece or Vogue Cafe. Or you could visit both, that is also a reasonable idea.

Aside from the fact that both of these cafe's have some outstanding coffee available, as well as an assortment of novelty milkshakes with enough sugar to keep a horde of children energised for a month, they both reside in one of the largest shopping centres in Australia meaning there is plenty to see and do. Obviously there are all of the shops to peruse, but there is also a cinema and ice skating rink. For those of you who want to get some exercise, there is a Fitness First if hitting the gym is your sort of thing, or for the swimmers among you there is the Macquarie University pool just up the road. All in all, you really can't go wrong with a quick (or not so quick) visit to Macquarie Centre.
