Macquarie University

Okay, I admit that this is a little bit of a cop-out when it comes to finding good locations to go to enjoy a coffee, but it isn't my fault if there are just so many great little places you can go on the campus of Macquarie University to enjoy your coffee! From the grass by the lake, to the main Quad outside the Hub, the section of grass outside the library (which is great when it is sunny) or even just on Wally's Walk, there will invariably be somewhere on campus that will be the perfect environment for you to enjoy your delightful, hot coffee.

Aside from the great locations for you to enjoy, first you will need to find somewhere to get your coffee. Marxine's Cafe in the Hub is a perennial favourite, as is the Library Cafe and Globe Cafe, but the place I visit the most is Wally's Coffee Cart. From here, it is a short walk to any number of places for you and any friends to sit and enjoy the coffee. Personally, I am a fan of heading down to the lakeside when it is sunny to enjoy the sights and sounds of the university, from people rushing to their classes to the ever-present Bin Chickens (ibis') scrounging for whatever scraps they can find. But if this isn't your speed, then go for a walk around the campus, I'm sure you'll find somewhere for you to sit down and enjoy the morning coffee.
